The following links are just a few of the more useful ones for accessing Greenhouse issues. Many of sites below have a 'Useful Links' section of their own. The Lavoisier Group welcomes suggested additions to this page. Please forward any candidates to our Webmaster

 DirectoryScience.com
http://www.directoryscience.com/
The Comprehensive Science Directory. The online Science directory designed to help its users find the online science source, companies, products, services, and information.

  Envirotruth.org
http://www.envirotruth.org
Arguing that 'some environmental groups have seized the world stage and the public's attention by distorting facts, bending the truth and even committing acts of terrorism against innocent citizens', Envirotruth provides a wealth of authoritative information and counter argument. Well-organized, with excellent resources for the media and students. Devoted to more than simply global warming.

The Center for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change
 http://www.co2science.org/scripts/CO2ScienceB2C/Index.jsp
Extremely well-organized US site with a strong commitment to making peer-reviewed scientific material publicly available. Has a terrific index and an excellent weekly online magazine. Well worth a visit.

The Science & Environmental Policy Project
http://www.sepp.org/
US group that deals with a range of environmental issues (including Greenhouse). Up-to-date links to articles, scientific papers, current research and a link to other sites of interest.

 Junkscience.com
http://www.junkscience.com

Excellent site for exposure of all sorts of garbage masquerading as science. It motto: 'All the junk that's fit to debunk' gives a clue to the content and style. Very topical and up-to-the minute maintenance.

Its Global Warming Links page is particularly impressive. Go to: http://www.junkscience.com/links/gwlinks.htm

 Still Waiting for Greenhouse
(A Lukewarm View from Tasmania)
http://www.john-daly.com
Another excellent site---largely the work of the late John Daly. If it's facts and data you want, there are more than enough here. Also plenty of articles, satellite images, reviews and exposés---all wrapped up with some lovely irony.

 Global Warming
 http://www.ozemail.com.au/~hughesw7/
Another interesting 'one-man' site---this one maintained by Warwick Hughes, a freelance earth scientist. Keenly focuses on the scientific credibility of the temperature data that are used to justify greenhouse 'concern'. The site requires a little care to navigate (it is still under construction), but apart from the temperature material, there are many interesting links to satellite images, critical reviews, air quality issues, icebergs, etc. Well worth a look.

 Cato Institute
 http://www.cato.org
An American libertarian 'think-tank' devoted to a free-market approach to a host of public policy issues. Although more than a Greenhouse site, the climate change material is worth seeking out.

 Competitive Enterprise Institute
 http://www.cei.org/
Another US free-market 'think-tank' ,which again is devoted to a wide range of issues. The Greenhouse material is good and deals with both science and policy. The site is best approached by using the Search button on the home page.

Greenhouse Warming: Fact, Hypothesis, or Myth?
 http://users.erols.com/dhoyt1/index.html
More an extensive review article than a site in itself, this piece, by scientist David Hoyt, examines recent temperature data and the interpretations to which they have and should be put. There are many links along the way and a very useful collection of links at the foot of the article.

 Greening Earth Society
 http://www.greeningearthsociety.org/
Here's a change---a group that actually promotes the benefits of enhanced atmospheric CO2 levels! A great site, with patient explanations of the wider role of CO2, which does not ignore the political dimensions of the wider debate. Has an interesting links page as well.
